"The Scramble Of Africa
The Scramble of Africa was about Segregating Africa into different countries, and the countries segregation depended on various amount of countries that took over the land. It was called imperialism. It was sad That Africa couldn't be different cities in one country it has to have more than one country. Africa could have been the largest country/continent but because of the Europeans they made it a continent/countries. So that was the scramble of Africa

The Europeans faced as they explored Africa was that they faced: storms, sickness, death, starvation, and their supplies.
2)Why is it strange that the source of the Nile River, (Lake Victoria - the third largest lake in the world) is named after a British Queen?
I don't really know because it is the largest and nature created it to be the third largest lake, plus the part of the river that is a lake was actually conquered by the English, and thats how they got Lake Victoria.
3)What was the primary technological advantage that Europeans had over African people?
The Europeans had an advantage of the hand over African people because they gave them gifts, had an African tribe, and the king of one tribe became friends with the Europeans.
4)Why were Europeans eventually able to conquer Africa so easily?
They were able to conquer Africa because they had stronger arms(guns)than the Africans

The Meiji Restoration of Japan
In a battle called the battle of Sekigahara in the 1600's ,leyasu defeated the the Hideyori loyalists and other Western rivals. Between 1639 and 1858 Japan was largely isolated from the outside world. Rade was prohibited except for two Dutch ships a year at Nagasaki. Chinese traders were allowed at Nagasaki as well. In 1858 Commodore Perry forced the Shogun government to allow trade. It is important to recognize that Perry was not forcing the Japanese merchants to trade, he was forcing the Shogun to stop preventing trade. The Shogun lost face as a result of his inability to enforce his will and there arose sentiment for deposing the Shogun. The expedious way to depose the Shogun was to call for the restoration of the Emperor as the head of state. The leaders of the rebellion did restore the Emperor Meiji to a place of prominance but these leaders themselves ruled in the name of the Emperor.

Karl Marx and Comunism
Karl Marx was born in Treir, Germany in 1818.He was Jewish but his father (Hirsal Marx decided to abandon his Jewish faith.
His father(Hirsal Marx) died in 1836. Now Marx had to earn their own living ,and decided to Become a university lecturer. Marx actually traveled a lot after he finished his doctoral degree.
He traveled because he was going to be arrested. He was actually running away. I think they wanted to arrest him because of socialism. As soon as he herd he was going to get arrested he married his girlfriend and then ran to other countries. Back then part of Europe was Communist. So a lot of people was arrested for socialism.

Nationalism
Nationalism it has a meaning of hate. Hate of other culture, or religion.Nationalism started a very long time ago. Well one time nationalism happened in one continent that was one big country, but everybody had a different language so the separated all the nations in that country and made it into 51 countries because they had different cultures. In Europe each country that was separated have their own land which has the same language in that country each country has a different language for instance Russia speaks Russian, and Romania speaks Romanian, and Germany speaks German. Nationalism is a way of offending somebody or hating someone by their nationality, culture, and religion. Nationalism is a bad thing because you really hurt somebodies feelings, or if it is A country with nationalism, and another without nationalism, it will cause a war between those countries.Nationalism is really sad I feel sorry for the people that use nationalism.

Scientific Revolution: Scientific Method
The scientific resolution:scientific method is about when other creatures evolve into different species. For example a monkey into a human, and an ape into a monkey. This is logical because a a gorilla looks close to a gigantic monkey, and a mid sized monkey looks like a human. The scientific method is fist you got to observe. Then you ananlize it.
